General Raheel Sharif, Chief of Army Staff (COAS) visited Corps Headquarters Peshawar today. During day long stay at Peshawar, COAS reviewed the progress of ongoing Operations Zarb-e-Azb and Khyber and was briefed on next phases of operations.He expressed his complete satisfaction on the progress of Operations and achievements made so far. General Raheel appreciated the spirit and commitment of troops in sustaining the Operations. COAS lauded the sacrifices rendered by our officers and men in operations who have written new chapters of valour and commitments. COAS was also briefed on the return strategy for Temporarily Dispalaced Persons(TDPs) of North Wazirastan Agency including the rehabilitation of affected areas. Appreciating the planning process COAS said early return of TDPs is our top priority and directed all concerned to start preparation for the return phase.
