According to the ISPR, the COAS spoke at the event and praised troop morale, loyalty, and organizational readiness.

Gen Bajwa also praised the formation for all-out assistance provided to civil administration for COVID-19 containment and emphasized the importance of exercising extreme caution.

“Security, defense, and well-being of the citizens of Pakistan are our duty, and the Pakistan Army will do anything to live up to our nation's expectations,” he said again.

He paid special homage to Pakistan's martyrs for their sacrifices.

“As soldiers, we take pride in being on duty and protecting the motherland, regardless of the front or occasion,” the COAS said.

On this Eid, he said, we must not ignore the heroic fight of Kashmir's courageous citizens.

He said that it is time to bring an end to the human tragedy in Indian-occupied Kashmir and settle the conflict in accordance with the wishes of the Kashmiri citizens and UN resolutions.
