Nigerian Special Forces team completes counter-terrorism training | SSG commandos Pakistan Army |

 Chief of Army Staff (COAS) Gen Qamar Javed Bajwa, while stressing the need for a collective response to terrorism, on Thursday offered Pakistan Army's experience in counter-terrorism operations and modern training facilities to assist friendly nations looking to build their counter-terrorism capacities.



He made the remarks during a visit to the Special Services Group's (SSG) training facility at Tarbela, where he witnessed the completion of a eight-weeks-long counter terrorism training program for a Nigerian Special Forces Battalion by Pakistan Army's SSG team, a statement released by Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) on Thursday said.

According to ISPR, the Nigerian contingent

 comprised 440 trainees, which included 26 officers.

Gen Bajwa was said to have appreciated the standard of training imparted and the results attained by the trainee contingent.
